Fit Tips

1. Your body is 60% water, make sure that you drink enough water to keep your body going the way it should be. If you feel thirsty you are already dehydrated!!!

2. Live by the 80/20 rule: 80% of the time eat right, and 20% of the time treat yourself. If you live by this rule you won't feel deprived and as a result you won't gorge

3. Believe you can do anything.

4. Do something you love. If you don't like what you are doing, you are not going to stick with it. 
 
5. Do it for you. Don't do it for anyone else do it for yourself. It would be great to work out with a friend and that is a start but in the end it has to be for you not your friend.
 
6. Do it to feel good as well as look good. Fitness has to be for your insides as well as your outsides. You will be amazed at how much better you feel internally when you start to work out.
 
7. Lets work out because we love our bodies not because we hate them!!!
 
8. Don't starve yourself, eat sensibly. Excluding ALL of anything from your diet is not healthy. Allow yourself a treat once in awhile. If you don't allow that treat you are going to pig out one day and then get mad at yourself.

9. Alcohol encouranges your body to burn 36% less fat and makes your body store more of the fat that you eat.

10. Easter has come and gone. Yes you ate alot of chocolate but just like Christmas don't spend time kicking yourself about it. Lets get back to work so we can be fit and fabulous this summer!!!

11. Remember: Anything worth doing is worth doing right! Didn't our parents teach us that a long time ago? If you are doing an exercise and you can keep doing that exercise for a long time (forever perhaps?) then you are not getting what you should be getting out of it. Push yourself just a little beyond your comfort zone. You will be surprised and pleased with your results!!!

12. Increasing the muscle in your body will increase your metabolism. Don't be afraid to add a little more weight and build more muscle.
